Adam MarotOctober 22, 2017Terminal provides wifi and few services incl. money exchange and fast food. Ask for a metered taxi or just go strait outside to the bluebird taxis. Kuta Beach is around 80k IDR from the airport.
Fairuz Zainal AarifMay 23, 2016Nothing fancy about this airport. But tue immigration officers were courteous and very friendly. There's a few souvenirs shop inside and a couple restaurant and cafes.
Be sure to have your return flight info available before going through immigration. They will scan all luggage. There is a limitation on value of products you can bring in.
They will offer you a transport at the tourist information after the baggage claim. I recommend to go to the taxi counters just a few meters further right outside the airport building
Lets embrace the uniqueness of this airport by seeing a lot of locals waiting outside as it is for their entertainment and leisure :)
Elle MoeeDecember 31, 2014Takes around 2 hours to go to Bangsal (the nearest point to Gili). Be careful in bargaining the price of the transportation. The normal price LOP-Bangsal Rp 350.000 (Avanza).

Ewin TanDecember 16, 2012When u arrive, look for airport's taxi, surely safe and reasonable fare. For Gili Trawangan, go to Bangsal (2-hours driving), then take public boat (Rp 10,000/pax). Only Bangsal has public boat.
Update 8 feb 2015 - this airport still dirty and crowded. If you're not in a hurry use "Damri" shuttle bus to Mataram. Cheaper than using taxi. Only Rp 25,000 to city or Rp 36,000 to senggigi.

TingJune 26, 2016Once you checked in and go to the international departure, there are cafes, souvenir shops and even massage service to occupy your time. If not there is nothing outside.
Are you a backpacker tourist? Go straight ahead to DAMRI Bus Pool wherever you go. Only 20.000 IDR to Mataram, and 30.000 IDR to Senggigi. The taxi fare or Rent Car here in the Airports are unfriendly

Harry MakertiaJanuary 6, 2015Going back to Bandung via DPS. It's much better than Selaparang, but still needs a lot of improvements to be reliable International Airport.
- Kinda simple modern new airport. People seems love it very much, that's why they come to the airport to see an airplane takeoff and landing
- While waiting your flight, try sky lounge. Plenty of foods compare to other lounge, quite comfy and snacks are good too!

I think you should prepare travel agent or person you know well before landing in this airport. And finally, welcome to heaven on earth!

But need more signation, people confused and started to find people to help, it won't need that big effort if only signs.- Simple modern building under concept of Lombok' Traditional House. This airport keeps charming as it's service is going better.

No airport stable wifi but have a lot of place to eat. Use wifi at restaurant.

Not one of my favourite airport.. there's no caffe or restaurant outside the airport area.. so be prepared to stand quite long if you have to wait for your pick up..
IcedNyiorFebruary 27, 2014Love how they checked people's luggage to correlate with the baggage tags before you pass customs- The airport was decent enough for travelers to wait for their flight, though only a few restaurants were available.
- Forget connecting your device with airport WiFi. Suck big time. You may wait at Sheraton lounge. Much better compare to other lounge. With only Rp 130k

Do the rapid test here at the parking lot. Alot cheaper than in mataram hospital.
