- Christopher E.October 14, 2011Pay the extra 20 bucks and upgrade to southwest buisness select. Worth not waiting in line for an hour. I always refuse the full body scanner thing so the ball rubbing was nice. :)
- Emily CNovember 25, 2012Nice clean airport. There isn't much seating at the gates but if you have a while, turn right after security and head to the end, you'll find a bunch of chairs
- TVs and plentiful amounts of comfortable seating everywhere. Outlets galore and plenty of delicious food options!Upvoted Mar 7
- Love Southwest Airlines but the baggage people in St Louis are the slowest of ANY airport I've ever been too. #slowashell
- Go to the outside lanes at the main security screening area- away from the full body scanner if you can. Full body scanner makes you empty your pockets and remove your belt.
- At the East Terminal, the security checkpoint at the west end is probably much faster than the main checkpoint. Lots of people think it's only for the charter flights, but you can get to SWA gates.
- Get here early because security lines can get LONG during high travel times.
- Give yourself plenty of time if flying out early AM on Monday. Also, fly business select or use the A-list membership to take advantage of the "fly-by" lane as much as possible.
- The Budweiser bar has the only good hot food. Get the pulled pork sandwich. It's delicious!
- Sondra PadloOctober 23, 2011CPK is remodeled and quite nice. Chilis is an option, but Starbucks is being remodeled so don't count on coffee in terminal E
- Ryan UnderwoodOctober 15, 2011See Ed in Terminal 2 for a great shine. It only cost $5 but I gladly paid $10 for his two coats of polished wonderment.
- If the lines to check are long, check at curbside. The guys out there are also more lenient with heavy bags...bring a couple bucks to leave a tip
- Ashley BradleySeptember 30, 2012Definitely love the remodel! It looks great and doesn't slow down travelers!
- Carrie VanNestApril 2, 2013Tuesday morning departure - airport is super empty and no line for security!! Love the East Terminal!
- Chip MahaneyMarch 27, 2010Nice terminal, no real good sitdown restaurants, but there's fast food all over the joint. Good power outlets in comfy seats for recharging and working.
- The Metrolink .. is the way to get back & forth to Lambert...give it a try!
- If security is too long for you- hit a self service kiosk and upgrade to Biz Select. You get to use the Frequent Flier lane then!!
- "Welcome to Burger King. We're our of biscuits, orange juice, pancakes and oatmeal." What do you have? "Croissants."
- I livein the Lou and travel a lot. This terminal is horrible for food ( except fast food served slow). There is a bar that can get you drinks at nutty prices. Best advice come full save your money.
- Coach KornSeptember 28, 2011This is a quick place to grab food if in St Louis airport. Been there twice. In an out in 30 min
- MikeApril 10, 2011Leave your wallet in your pocket when you go through the body scan. You'll get and entertaining lecture and your balls cupped.
- Aaron LambertNovember 22, 2011Few food options and only one bar. Eat before you get here. And the interiors architect liked many shades of grey. Depressing little terminal, not layover friendly.
- Chris BaccusAugust 5, 2011Ask for Mark when going through security. His TSA search is tender and welcoming
- For Southwest check with luggage to check, stay outside even if the line looks long. Inside will be worse.
- Love southwest. Grab those large comfy chairs. They have plug ins for wifi.
- Mondays are extremely busy mornings! Other days are a breeze through security...
- If you are tring to get downtown.. use Go Best shuttle. I wish I did. Ive been waiting over an hour. My friends have come and gone.
- Dan GibsonAugust 20, 2012Go to McDonald's and ask for the Secret Sauce Burger. Only place in the world that serves it.
- Amanda GilbertSeptember 19, 2012All flights delayed through Southwest. Nice airport and Internet friendly.
- The flu shot center outside of E-8 is very convenient. $35, but the lady is really nice!
- KrisAugust 15, 2012Security lines are crazy so checkin online and send to your phone ... saves a bit if time :-)
- MikeMay 1, 2011If you are in a hurry - avoid Burger King. They are royalty when it comes to slow service. Awesome display of gold teeth though.
- Fly Southwest and you could have the major load your bags!!
- Bob MoriartyMarch 3, 2011Welll southwest's android app doesnt seem to do much good as far as a boarding pass because none of their terminals read ePasses!
- If you're stuck in a long security line- look left. Lines 5/6 may be shorter and they go to the same place!
- Security is extra long on Monday AM. If the far left smaller checkpoint is open- take it.
- Scott AndersonAugust 31, 2011Not as clean as Tampa's airport and wi-fi is not free either. They could learn a lot from TIA.
- Snag breakfast/lunch at The Great American Bagel Bakery.
- Arrive early for your flight. The "2 hour" rule applies. Security lines are long.
