Skip the irrelevant change of the guards and go straight to visit inside the palace. Stunning! The last visit is 16h15, its not full and you can see the sunset in the coffee at the palace garden.

Visit to the state rooms was well worth the entrance fee. Quite crowded but that's to be expected for such an amazing and historic site. Audio guide is free and pretty good.

The palace is just gorgeous. If you're here to see the horse guard parade, make sure you check the calendar the day you're planning to go. Find yourself a prime spot by getting there by 10!

19 Staterooms. Yes I dressed up to enter her Palace. Each room tells a story of the lives of those before us and of those who are living especially HRH Queen Elizabeth II. Highly recommended. Aug-Sept

It was exciting to see the exchange of guards, a traditional moment of English culture, symbolic. The castle and surroundings are eye-popping, the Green Park (next door) is beautiful.

Tickets sell out fast and the Palace only opens a few months around summer. Its around 13 rooms to walk through and a couple of the rooms have important art pieces by Canaletto and other artists.

A lovely symbol of the United Kingdom's cultural backwardness. While other countries fought tooth and nail to end feudalism, the UK embraces its history of class oppression.
