Soho's Dominique Ansel Bakery's cronuts are divine!!! They are worth arriving at 4am and the wait, and most definitely worth the hype. I plan to go once a month or so and have them cater my wedding!!!

Walk with pace and limit to double wide (meaning don't walk abreast 3 or more on the sidewalk). Don't stop mid-pace in middle of the sidewalk to take in the sites or window shop.

Of your from out of town make sure you get a cab with gps in the back or you have a smart phone on you. Cab drivers are known to take long routes purposely

Come to Bryant park they have outlets to charge your phone laptop and all of electric devices. As long as u bring your charger with you.

Old industrial area now converted into a residential area city college nearby small shops mama and papa limited sources of food Chinese food sandwiches. Safer than its ever been.
