Gardens; stray far from palace for a quiet picnic. Get the audio tour. Wear a cape! Excellent play acting, not cringe worthy. Get a year pass if you live close for summer outings for all 5 palaces.

A great historical treasure. Get the train direct from Waterloo. The gardens and maze are free. Plus cross the river for some decent places to eat.

Go for snapshots of the royal apartments from three different rulers. Be sure to check out the gardens and look up at the ornately painted ceilings.

There's an Ice Rink set up of a winter in front of the Palace. From a distance & with everything lit up of at night, it looks good. But close up, the ice rink looks very basic. Better venues in London

A magnificent Palace next to the River Thames is a historical attraction that was built for Cardinal Wosley, Henry VIII's favorite. Make sure to see the astronomical clock built in the 1540s.

Don’t miss the live acting, be part of Henry VIII’s royal court. Look in the brochure you’ll receive when buying your tickets, see where and when you can find the king and one of his wives. :)

Tourists are so few compared to other attractions in London that sometimes you feel as if you were the owner of this place or at least some of its rooms.
