- LaszloApril 17, 2018You can take public bus "A" (yellow buses operated by TEC) to Charleroi SUD train station for 6€. It is fast (max 20 minutes) because no stops and takes the motorway (maybe slower at rush hours)
- After passing security control, prices are quite interesting: 3,5€ for a 0,5l bottle of Coke (restaurant) and 5€ for 6-pack of Jupiler beer in 0,33l cans (Duty Free shop). What will you choose? :D
- Dionysis ZindrosJanuary 30, 2014There's only one power plug to charge your phone in the whole airport and it's underneath the coffee vending machine next to the coca cola vending machine near check-in desk 25
- Vasek S.March 19, 2017I can recommend seat place next to Food hall. You can charge your phone, use free WiFi and take something to eat..
- Insil KimAugust 9, 2017Friendly staff towards disabled people. The transit from security to boarding was good. There a nice but small breakfast place near the gates, 1 friendly person served me, the other was not
- An advice: to go to Bruxelles don't take the shuttle bus to Gare du Midi, but take the local bus to Charleroi station, then take the train to Bruxelles. It's cheaper, more comfortable and more frequent
- Your experience will vary depending on what terminal you get. T1 is bigger and has a decent eating area. T2 is literally just a small hallway with a tiny bar at the end...
- JonasMarch 6, 2015Book your shuttle bus to various cities in Belgium (Brussels, Ghent, Bruges...), France and Luxembourg in advance online and pay as little as €5.
- The Flibco busses are definitely the easiest way to travel from and to the airport. Book your tickets in advance to save money.
- JackNovember 15, 2011You can share a cab to Brussels South Station. It's about 100€. If you are 7 or 8 you'll pay 12€ each. No have to wait, cheaper and faster than the shuttle !
- You can go from and to the airport by sharing a cab with other travellers. Definetely more comfortable and for 3 or 4 euros more than the shuttle
- Jesus De QueensJune 16, 2019Only buy the fast pass when you get there and see if there’s a ton of people. If you are flying RyanAir it’s super fast on their app. I’ve bought it only once.
- Gosia PacułaDecember 17, 2016Small but quite cosy airport. Big dining area near the gates. Sometimes huge lines for a shuttle bus to the city but the transport well organised.
- Maruja EndewereldSeptember 30, 2023A national shame for Belgium. You are in a restricted area and you can only go to the toilet paying with a card? Extra queue, children crying, completely unacceptableUpvoted 1 week ago
- Instead of the bus take a shared taxi (they leave when they reach 8 people).. The price is exacly the same (13 euro) and your trip to the center is much more comfortable..
- The new food court really raises the quality of the airport. Before that, it was a place to avoid, now it is actually acceptable.
- Pelin DuraMarch 19, 2015the place after the gates are bigger than the entrance. there re people who re sleeping at night in the entrance area but I wouldnt recommend it go to ibis hotel
- Gay MurallonSeptember 10, 201445-1hr travel from Brussels via shuttle. Buy souvenirs and belgian delicacies in Carrefour in Brussels. Goods at the Sky Shop are not tax free (unless stated) and are more expensive.
- If you’re leaving from (actual) Brussels, book a Flibco bus online for 14.70e - will take you to the airport in ~1hr. Check the screen upon arrival to see what terminal you have to go to (T1 or T2).
- JonasMarch 6, 2015A small convenience store - named AD Delhaize - is located next to arrivals (land side) and is the cheapest place to buy a drink / snack.
- Walter WartenweilerJune 17, 2013This airport was built in 2005 and looks like a communist era build. Processes would deserve an optimization - typically no separate luggage drop - lucky that the wizzair prices are good.
- Wim LonckeJanuary 1, 2019Beautiful example of how we Belgians make a logistical disaster out of anything. Check-in procedure is a nightmare and airport personnel seem to be in a constant state of panic.
- Actually you're not in Brussels, but Charleroi. Getting to Brussel will take you another hour and a half ánd cost you around 20 euros... Just saying.
- Bánki Tamás #LinkedinByTamasApril 12, 2014The departure area bar closes at 10PM, if your flight delayed or departs later, come here for the last coffee, Cecemil or beer earlier! DrLinkedin.com
- Michael NørkjærJune 5, 2017Adequately amount of shops. No real restaurants but you can get covered from the cafes.
- Use Flibco shuttles to get to main locations out of here. But the ticket online! Not much space to spent some time in the airport.
- Getting better than before. More options to drink/eat, faster controls, bar code scanners to enter the flight area and more access options (or better parking rates).
- Chinedu MadichieFebruary 10, 2015Easy access to drop off and pick up. Provided you don't spend more than 15 mins your 1€ is good.
- Gabriela Torrens AnsellFebruary 17, 2015It's a small and handy airport. If you are in a hurry you can pay 4€ for going through the security priority lane. Not much to do inside. There are buses connecting the airport with the main cities.
- Leo DW8RNovember 13, 2014It's an airport, with airplanes. It's not in Brussels, it's not even close to Brussels, but you can get there by bus, or by train in about an hour. It's cheap to get here or away from here.
- Jiri KramJune 9, 2016If you take a train from Brussels Central, it could be delayed. Airport is definitely not close to Brussels it's almost in France. And thanks new rules going through security is a long journey.

- If you need to get to the nearest railstation, Charleroi SUD, take the bus A. To get the schedule, download the free iPhone/Android App "ProchainBus" and look for the bus "A Charleroi SUD" Read more
- Busy little airport in far away Wallonia. The upstairs food court is a welcome addition.
- Currently works ongoing but it gets more space and better developed. Smooth experience
- Having installed a piano for any amateur to play is not a necessity. Paying more attention to the cleanliness of the airport, is.
- Balazs HorvathOctober 5, 2018Small airport, far from the city. After 10pm everything closed, hard to hit the time if you have a late flight.
- Buy the city shuttle tickets online. They got really expensive on the bus. Or get one of the taxi services for the same price.
- Chris MacAugust 6, 2014If you are checked in online and have the PDF on your phone. Ryanair will print your boarding pass for free at their desk
- René BrandersDecember 14, 2016Good ranking for the price and the security is serious . A pity to have a lack of seats especially on the morning flights
- I hate Ryanair...like the majority of people, but finally when comparing prices I end up flying with them. Thinking about the word to describe the feeling...is a contemporary variation of masochism!
