Famous for its desserts, this is one of Rio's oldest landmarks. Have an espresso and share a dessert while enjoying the classic architecture that includes an incredible stained glass window.

The desserts are great! Have the pastel de Belém or the folhado de maça (apple turnover). Accompany it with straight espresso (the cappuccino is made from a powder mix)

Probably the most picturesque place in Rio, that takes you back to the 1960s just for sitting and appreciating the ambiance. Go 4 d traditional 'afternoon tea', you'll be eating like a true royal.

This is not only a restaurant but an exhibition. It has history and something different from the others. The price is worth it.

This tearoom with its century old belgium mirrors is a must see in downtown Rio. Try any of the Eclairs and pastries, they are all really good.

Get the brigadier, national truffle of Brazil. Made with condensed milk and cocoa powder. Rich, but worth it.

Beautiful place, but on Saturday you have just 4 meals to choose or Feijoada. Food is just OK, nothing special.
