- Alexa SternAugust 12, 2017This is my FAVORITE restaurant in harvard square. Everything is amazing. If you get there early you have a shot at snagging one of the burgers (not overrated). I like to get a bunch of plates to share
- One of the best Cambridge spots: the menu changes often + everything is excellent. However, the leftish side of the menu is probably best; the appetizer-type things are more exciting than the entrees.
- Exceeds the trendy hype. Start with two snacks (bruised tomato salad and string bean fritters), the share 3 entrees for a hearty meal. The corn pancakes were unreal. Super creative cocktails, too.
- Best burger in Boston. Seriously rivals my favorite burger at Spotted Pig in NYC... But I can walk to Alden & Harlow. I will inevitably be a regular here. Sorry in advance.
- Jonathan YuJanuary 2, 2016Great environment with tapas style dishes. Two dishes per person works out pretty well. The secret burger is amazing and large.
- BeckyOctober 17, 2015charred broccoli with pumpkin hummus and the pickled corn pancakes were delish. the wait to get seats at the bar (since those are also reserved) is not quite as delish.
- Alex HeathNovember 27, 2016Bold flavorful dishes to share. Super experimental and fun. Cocktails aren't cheap at $14 but they're different and worth trying.
- All the cocktails are excellent. We also sampled at least half the menu. Pork belly, pumpkin salad (surprisingly), pork shoulder, burrata crostino were standouts.
- KathrineJune 5, 2015The charred octopus with quinoa was awesome! Also love love loved the NY strip - amazing flavor. Great cocktails at the bar, too. Oh! And we ended up ordering a second of the kofta - so good.
- Minnie KimNovember 23, 2014Their "Secret" Burger is definitely overhyped. Bartley's has better burgers. The food was very interesting, a wide range of unexpected combos, like popcorn and pancakes. Overall, great ambiance!
- Morgan McKeeJuly 15, 2017They call it shared plates, but bring an eater if you go that direction. Definitely try the crab, avocado toast and get come sweets as well. Pancakes are delicious!
- Lizzy SaxeNovember 28, 2016Delicious food, a comfortable vibe, and a beautifully presented plates with good service. Pictured is the venison crepinette with housemade tahini.
- Cameron RyanMay 1, 2017I recommend the chips & 3onion dip, chicken fried local rabbit, & the salt roasted beets. Delicious. The menu changes seasonally too, so be on the lookout for new yummy bites.
- Kale salad, corn pancakes, and grilled minty beans were so good. The blueberry pie special was killer! Also get the Turncoat cocktail, mmm.
- Sofia PapastamelosMay 25, 2015Great foods and cocktails. Loved the mackerel and corn cakes! Beware of the price label because these are "small plates" which means you will need to order several (ie it's pricey).
- MarcJanuary 19, 2016OffMenuBurger: tweets out secret burger code word every Friday. Current SecBur: blend of ground brisket, short rib & beef plate, lettuce, a Cabot cheese tuille + salted onions, dressed w/No-Name sauce
- Yuval ZukermanDecember 22, 2022The best restaurant in Harvard Square. Great service and cocktails. Try the braised beef or the pork belly. Just phenomenal.
- The secret burger is solid, but don't overlook their daily specials. Also get the kale salad and popcorn pancakes to start.
- Luke HenryFebruary 5, 2016Burger (go early for it), pancakes, kale salad and then a random crazy choice.
- Jessica ShimSeptember 21, 2014Don't leave without getting the Charred Broccoli, Squash Hummus, Montasio & Cashew Crumble! Seriously, amazing! The TRENNE NERO is also not to be missed!
- Lauren ChristopherMarch 30, 2019Excellent snack menu! For meals, favorite small plate was the trout! You also have to stay for dessert. The olive oil cake is to die for!
- Ben BearnotMarch 11, 2015Grilled chicken hearts and head cheese fritter off snack menu are awesome. Order ~3 dishes per person and they will arrive as soon as they're ready. First dish can hit your table minutes after you sit
- XavierJanuary 31, 2016Some of the most bizarre food i found in Boston. Very good and tasty. But if you are hungry order more than to dishes. Summ good, small and expensive.
- Gianna NebbiaDecember 16, 2014The most unique and delicious food I've ever had... Also, the Embayed vessel is the best drink I've ever had. (Picture is of pork belly)
- Jessica ShimAugust 13, 2014Bon Appetit says: Get the restaurant’s coveted “secret” burger ; Stone fruit and house pancetta; beef heart tartare; chicken-fried rabbit with celery, apple, blue cheese, and chile oil
- Oliver HoJune 13, 2014Tasty small plates (especially the pork belly), but with an emphasis on small. If you've got a big appetite, you might want to do 3 plates/person rather than the 2 or 2.5 the waiter might recommend.
- Tom WangSeptember 5, 2014Kale aalad was the best. Also the "secret burger" runs out around 7:00 so get there earlier! Pancakes are an awesome substitute though
- IrinaJuly 7, 2016Cocktail Prima firma is really tasty, on a sweet-and-sour side. However, it would be useful to ask for a straw cause otherwise small pieces of ice go into your mouth.
- Sandra RubinchikJuly 25, 2015They have something called crispy bok choy where they just burn the crap out of a perfectly good vegetable and serve it with a poached egg so you won't notice.
- Outstanding food and cocktails. Forever in love with the charred broccoli and the corn pancakes.
- Liam NeeDecember 30, 2016Best of Boston 2016: Restaurant, General Excellence 🏆 :: Try the chicken-fried rabbit, roasted carrots over romesco sauce or chef Michael Scelfo’s scandalously smoky burger.
- Michal PalmonAugust 6, 2021Amazing and creative food. Great flavors. We loved the focaccia, the smoked carrots, hamburger, potatoes and pancakes. Great service.
- IrinaJuly 7, 2016Pâté appetizer is amazing. Rich dynamic taste. Pair with some of their sour cocktails.
- Anna TyzikMarch 23, 2014Ubiquitous Kale Salad, Grilled Point Judith Bluefish, Lamb Sirloin, Pan Roasted Clams. And wash it all down with a dirty martini!
- Mary LyonsOctober 17, 2021Roasted pumpkin raviolo, pickled corn pancakes, & grilled broccoli were delicious! Kale salad was good but not as unique as the other dishes.
- Alex MasseSeptember 16, 2023Get the local burrata, maybe get two.. to die for. Exquisite drinks and a great atmosphere
- DxbMApril 5, 2019Weird menu.. thought it would be a disaster.. the friend Brussels sprouts were great and the T bone yummy.. busy with students in Harvard square..
- Dan ThompsonSeptember 1, 2014The dishes are meant for sharing and the waiters advise you to order 2-3 per person. We didn't realize this before and so ended up spending more than we had expected. The food was delicious though.
- Ricky SherrillMay 19, 2016Good food & drinks are awaiting you in this Harvard Square spot. The best items were the "Pork Belly" and the "Secret Burger".
- Anton ShusterDecember 5, 2016Layout of this place is confusing. The bar wraps around the back, so if you don't see room when you come in, walk to the back and make a left. "That'll Do" cocktail tastes like meat, in a good way.
- Kim PhamMarch 30, 2016Absolutely gorgeous small plates. The kale and duck & pork campagna are perfect!
- Mike GFebruary 10, 2015Secret burger is great, burratta dishes are incredible, cocktail selection is fantastic and crafted with care and precision.
- Andrew CNovember 14, 2017Great food in a cool space. You may leave inspired by the optimistic world-changing conversations of the Harvard kids around you.
- Kevin MacApril 29, 2016Can't go wrong with any of the dishes. Don't let the eclectic descriptions on the menu fool you. Your palette will appreciate your decision.
- Brett CarneiroMarch 18, 2014Everything here was amazing, including service. I will certainly be coming back with a group of friends, or for date night. Cocktails were superb.
- Adam SigelFebruary 21, 2015The charred broccoli was outstanding. Kale salad with pistachio dressing was great too. Fresh food creatively prepared.
