Giga: Anchiskhati is the oldest surviving church in Tbilisi and dates from the 6th century. Aside from the altarpiece painted in 1683, all remaining frescoes in the church date from the 19th century.

Giga: Most important sacred object here is St. Nino's Cross which, according to legend, is made from vine branches bound with the saint’s own hair. A replica of this is displayed to the left of the altar.
Giga: Established between 1895 and 1903, the exterior is decorated with a mosaic, while inside there are paintings depicting biblical verses and prayers.
Giga: The Jvaris Mama Church has been a church since the 5th century. However, the current structure dates from the 16th century. Its frescoes were recently restored.
