Arrive as close to the 10am opening time as possible. After 10:30/10:45ish, expect a 1hr.+ wait.
Check the website for events. In the summer, there are frequent concerts, dance lessons, fairs/markets, etc.
Worth visiting just to walk around and appreciate the decor. Park at Opry Mills and walk over to save $$$ on parking.
The chai tea latte is my favorite. Great low-key place to get things done. Reliable wifi, ample outlets, lots of seating.
