To be exact: there is no Arktikum museum as such. The building is called Arktikum, which hosts one museum (Museum of Lapland) and one science center (The Arctic Centre). On top of this a lot more too.- Tarja MitrovicJuly 28, 2012A GREAT museum, definitely worth a detour. We spent half a day there and enjoyed every exhibit. The museum focuses on Arctic life in general, though some exhibits are focused on Finland.

Kuba SuderSeptember 6, 2015I was a bit disappointed with it after reading some reviews - it was a nice way to spend a few hours, but it isn't anything really special, especially the Arctic part leaves a lot to be desired.
