Been going here for years. One of the original fromaggeries in NY that finally figured out how to profit off of cheese. Well, profit is relative I guess, but still, fantastic French restaurant.

A good restaurant to go in Manhattan, for those who like cheese! They also have a small shop where you can buy cheese to take out.

Cheese!!! We let the waiter guide us and ended up choosing Brebirousse (soft, creamy, slightly sweet) and Roomano (hard, tart butterscotch flavor). Both were a hit.

The vibe of this place is very cool. I felt like I was in a 1920s cafe in Paris with the live jazz & decor. Drinks A+, Food B-.

Best wedding reception venue ever. Anything cheese here is great, salmon is tasty, shrimp cocktail is HUGE, the cheesecake is TO DIE FOR. And I've eaten a LOT of NY cheesecake.

I'm from Switzerland, so i very well know good cheeses. I always thought Artisanal is good until last time where i felt they just went downhill. The fondue was just ok. Nothing special anymore.

One of the best brunches in NYC (especially the eggs benedict). For dinner, the chestnut fennel soup was delicious. Also recommend trying wild mushroom risotto (among many other things)!

Bar is perfect for late night wine & cheese after a show. Ask for the full cheese menu, or have the fromagier put a plate together with his recommendations.

Be aware - the food is good but overpriced! (A small Fondue is $37) The location and ambience are also not really worthy of the price point. Needs a refurb -floors/banquettes are covered with dust:(

Their Gouda and Stout Fondue is so very tasty. If you need to get something for dipping I suggest the beef tips, but the bread alone with the cheese is more than fine.

Great for brunch! Try the beet, endive and goat cheese salad, the fondue and cartoucherie, and the asparagus risotto and very unique parmesaen gnocchi.
