Underrated site by most visitors. Most beautiful home of Edwardian period I have seen. Beautiful views of downtown Portland, Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens and maybe even Mt. Rainier. Rooms are charming
We were told to visit the Chinese Gardens over the Japanese. They were exquisite! We can't imagine anything better. Beautiful vignettes with lots of great info on Chinese culture. Totally worth it!
Plenty of good fun here. Doughnuts are good but more importantly is the experience. Where else do you get to say your Mother ate a dirty old bastard?
This is one of the best kept secrets in downtown Seattle. Part of the national park system, this free museum has two films that discuss the gold rush and history of Seattle. Close to King Street.
So much fun to take the train from Seattle to Portland. The price and views #priceless.
Fell in love with Chihuly years ago but seeing this collection in Seattle is very special and must see. Buy the package deal of tickets to the museum and the space needle which is next door.
I don't know why this place isn't higher rated! We had a fabulous lunch in this kitschy little place on the middle floor of Pike's Market. Great peek-a-boo views of the sound.
No bad ice cream here! Hip without pretension. Save room for ice cream and walk and enjoy summer and feel like you are in a Hallmark movie.
Loved Pike's and it's not just about one stall throwing fish. A couple of city blocks and multiple levels a must visit. Fresh cherries and everything else, Starbucks 1 and lots of quirky shops!
Pick up used coffee grounds for your garden. Pay a $1 for old coffee burlap bags to use for decoration or ground cover.
