Monday nights are the best!!!! After work jazz and chorus girl or burlesqueperformances. Live bands are always spectacular and you'll see some good dancing too.
The pretzels are imported directly from Germany. Classic look, classic beers, just respect for the tradition is what made this place one of the best we have ventured to in the last couple of years. Read more
An indoor Biergarten. It gets a bit loud but that's not a problem. The schnitzel is really good with authentic sides. Get the "mas" and you'll be good to go.
I came here yesterday with a big group of friends and Julia was such a sweetheart! We tried the flight and the Hefe Weizen was my favorite. Get the pretzels too while you're at it! Fun time!
Great great German bar for wursts and Hofbrau beer. Not good if you want something other than beer. Excellent place to watch the Germans become fußball weltmeisters! ;)
One of my favorite beer gardens! Get the Dunkel Weizen & prepare to share a table with strangers/make new friends. They have live music and it gets pretty rowdy in the summer. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
German beer house with traditional beers on tap and classic foods available... pretzel is fresh and hot with tasty dipping sauces + wings smelled amazingly
I love this indoor beer garden! My fave beer is the dunkelweiss (dark wheat) and get the sausage that's a mix of pork & beef. If you have 3+ friends with you, make sure to order a shotski!! Trust.
Ask the knowledgable bar staff about the variety! Almost like being in the Munich establishment (which I have been too) but much friendlier here in NYC!
Through 10/3, you can reserve a table here for their daily noon or 6pm seating for $70pp, which entitles you to two beer tickets, one food ticket, live entertainment, and a boisterous atmosphere!
Look out for a variety of beers (lager, hefe weizen, dunkel, dunkel weizen, bock, Knut bock) running on 24 taps, live music, and enough wurst derivatives to tide you over until Oktoberfest. Read more

Beer great, food: some good, some ok. Mustard is a bit disappointing.(Dijon, not authentic) Atmosphere: feels like home away from home. Will come back.
If you're checking the tips to see if you should go here, you'd have more fun absorbing the debt of flying to Munich to the actual Hofbräuhaus. This place is a sweaty, fart-ridden jock hellhole.
