Old Bogota (La Candelaria) This neighbourhood is a fun walking area with shops & churches. Also features numerous attractions including The Plaza de Bolivar, The Bogota Cathedral & The Gold Museum.

The new international terminal is wonderful. Very well designed and easy to navigate. It's also a convenient place to meet arrivals, as you can see them picking up their luggage

Food variety/quality is poor @ boarding area. Just fatty burgers and awful Italian food. Better if you grab a quality burger at Corrales or have a meal at Creps & Waffles outside the boarding area.

If you are moving between the El Dorado and puente aéreo por vice versa, a free bus in the first floor by the el Dorado parking lot will take you for free. Free Wi-Fi too :)

Taxis will charge you more than normal if you dont see the chart at the back of the front seats. I paid 10 dollars instead of 5 because I didn't know there was a chart with the prices in every taxi.

The WiFi is free, but painfully slow and there it no other option unless you have VIP lounge access. The building is modern and nice, with plenty of space and chairs...but lacks outlets.

This place has improved A LOT since my last visit, free wifi, the immigration queue is reasonable and organized, though it lacks restrooms and restaurants, there's only two at the moment.

Great modern airport. Never had any hassle getting in or out of flights. Very quick and short queues. Love how the souvenir stores are right next to the departure gates.

Nice clean airport with lots of open space and duty free shops. Food area is limited so you may want to eat before you arrive.

Wi-Fi is FREE which is great. However, we were there for a layover and were looking forward to eating and drinking some traditional Colombian food....yeah right, only American food.

La Cathedral is located on the Plaza Bolivar and is well worth a visit. It is a good example of colonial religious architecture. It was rebuilt in 1807 - 1823.

ATM upstairs on 2nd floor in departure building (not arrival). Registered taxis to your right out of arrival door. Tell booth where you're going and they print receipt with fare. Pay driver.

When flying Avianca avoid the main lines at the center of the airport. There are a couple of international counters beside the domestic ones at the exit 2-3 at the end.

It is a shame(and a stupid decision) that there isn't a single colombian restaurant in the entire international terminal, i was very disappointed. At least there is good Juan Valdez Coffee.

Don't get ripped off by cabbies!. GO2 a square booth @ baggage claim.U tell them where UR going , & they give U a fixed cab fare.. After that, you make a line 2pick up a cab w/the paper they give you.

Great new airport! Free and easy access to internet! Stop charging for the baggage trolleys (they only do that in US) and you will get 5 thumbs! 👍👍👍👍😃

Great airport, very modern and sometime is fast, but migration and security maybe can take 15-20 minutes of your time.

Arrive early for your flight back to allow time for the sort of confusing mandatory tax refund thing. Yes, it's money back but the back and forth between airline counter, tax counter sucks.

Beautiful new airport. Free wifi. A breeze to check in and go through security. Nice change from two years ago. Avianca Lounge simple and nice.

Food is overpriced at the few restaurants once you've passed through the emigration checkpoint. Try eating at the restaurants next to the airline check-in counters

Probably the only airport I have been to, which offers amazing wifi, with no arbitrary time limits or TOS pages! Good options to buy coffee here!

Its a very clean and new airport. Some places inside were extremely hot, specially in the restaurants area. Good food options. The gifts were extremely expensive.

TAXI to BOGOTA: do not take the taxi where the men are offering service. Stand in line outside. Cost is less and service is good. Cost range $5-12USD

Interesting fact, since Bogota has high elevation, you will experience a rough and fast landing. Plane will still be doing 3-400mph at 5-6k feet, its a little crazy.

Subway is a good option to have something to eat, good and fast. Don't wait too long in one. There are two, one in each floor. :-)

If you've been in Colombia for less than 60 days, make sure you get a tax exempt stamp prior to check-in / bag drop. It'll expedite your process!

Don't get scared if the fire alarms are triggered. Fire exits are used casually by the airport employees & the alarms go on often, last for a few seconds. हम जैसे लोगों को कुछ फरक नहीं पड़ेगा 😉

Avoid flying Aerolineas Argentinas unless you are on a tight budget. Web check-in is not available & you have to line up for hours to check in.

Brand new airport - beautiful. Too many upscale shops in my opinion - completely in contrast with the real Colombia

Get an uber to go to town. Yellow cabs are unsafe and the driver will surely try to rip you off if you are a foreigner
