Jesse WelchSeptember 29, 2013Cell reception is terrible at the central terminal but if you move out towards the gates it gets better!
Some drinking fountain stations have filtered water dispensers to refill yours water bottles.
Don't rush with your drink! Take it to the gate with you.
Hita SMarch 23, 2013Fly SOUTHWEST!!!!! This airport is smaller than O'Hare International Airport, but I'm very grateful for it!
Lines get very long for Southwest, make sure to print boarding pass!!
Southwest is my favorite, but they need to start offering milk for the wee ones!
Arrive earlier than you would normally think for Midway. The security lines are longer these days.

Don't expect the Fly By Lane to get you through security faster. When you round that corner, you'll realize the line is 2x as long as the others and they only have 1 or *at most* 2 screening lanes. :(

Take your time getting off of the plane if you have checked luggage. You'll be waiting awhile for them...

Fly Porter Airlines and you'll get priority access through security.
If herpes was an airport, it's name would be Midway International. Kabul Afghanistan is probably nicer.
Alden QuimbyAugust 31, 2013Looking for coffee/breakfast? Go to Potbelly! You can get coffee at Intelligentsia and a solid breakfast sandwich. You might think you can find something better, but trust me, you won't.

The chocolate croissant at Let Them Eat Cake is really very good :-)
Bathrooms with doors that open out is heavenly! Sooo much easier to get your luggage in with you.

Take transit, not cabs! (At least if heading downtown.) So much faster, so much cheaper.

I have a great tip...DON'T FLY ON SOUTHWEST AIRLINES!!! Their customer service SUCKS!!
