Adrian PhillipsFebruary 23, 2017It's a pub with plenty of beer on tap. Was a little overrun by people on their computers but that didn't stop me from getting a pint, some sausage rolls and a shepherds pie with a bit of HP Sauce.
Shepards pie with a flight of their ales - you can't go wrong here. Lizzie is the cute blonde bartender that is very knowledgable aboit alcohol on the menu. Love the cozy intimate friendly vibe here!
Love my little local pub.If its your first time here, order the Scotch Eggs!They are divine. I also recommend their scones, b'fast sammie, pork and cider stew and incredible cheese plate.Pint & grub.

Keep calm, and carry on. Start with a scone, some coffee, and then let draught beer and some tasty grub stretch Sunday morning into a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Never pay for parking. The meters are prohibitively expensive. You can find free parking north & west of the pub.

Andrew CJune 20, 2013Don't get the meat pie. It will dissapoint. It's just dry lamb meat with plain mashed potatoes over it. Under seasoned and without any gratification.
the mac n cheese is a meal! get it or live your life full of regret.
