It’s almost impossible to get reservations here right now. Hack: sit at the bar. The bar is walk in only and serves the full menu.

Duck is well prepared, pass on the caviar add-on/ not worth it. Neither is the cherry foie gras. The bar is a good scene, friendly staff and good cocktails.

Subpar to DaDong in Beijing. The crepes were cold and dry. The duck was flavorless. The dumpling had no salt in it. The langostine sashimi and the cherry foie gras were good.

The roasted duck doesn’t feel freshly cooked, it needs at least 30min to cook but we only waited for 10 min. And its not fat enough if you know what Im saying. Good thing is you get unlimited wrap;)

The food was incredibly delicious. Order the roasted Peking Duck. It’s ridiculously tasty

Their Peking Duck is the best that I had in the US. But it's not as good as that from DaDong at Beijing. Other dishes are a little bit overpriced.

DaDong — a roast duck chain in China that has some Michelin-starred locations — has arrived with its signature duck sporting a crispy exterior and juicy meat.

Langostine sashimi and cherry foie gras. But the langostine sashimi was overpriced.

Not impressed 👎🏻 went for it with the 7-course and wine pairing despite bad reviews, and we confirm the reviews. Restaurant was empty, service still off, and food nothing special for a steep price

Service was excellent but food not nearly as good as DaDong in Beijing. I have eaten at his first restaurant in Beijing many times, but the New York restaurant was not disappointing. Mediocre food

This place is very over rated and over priced. The duck wasn't mind blowing. I've had better a lot lower price. All they do is cut it up and serve it. Make it special, I'm paying for it.

Hugely disappointed. Food was sub par, got up-charged for my drink, ordered the beef wagyu fried rice which really was not that special. All in all, NOT worth the money for the quality of the food.

Overpriced. Duck is ok, pancakes are not hot enough to bring out the flavors of the duck.

Da Dong is not sure what it is... it thinks fancy means tiny portions?

Hope they improved after the soft opening. The food was good, but not great. Appetizers were decent, the entrees were lacking flavor & nothing special. Definitely not worth what they’re charging.

Incredible meal. Probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The chef’s tasting menu is a must!
