Dana Jensen: Great place to try small amounts of some of the more unusual old Icelandic foods like the basking shark dried fish. Yummy rye bread ice cream
Dana Jensen: Was looking for a Chicago flag for a friend moving to the city and they were sold out everywhere. This company called their other stores and found me one at this location. Very friendly and helpful.
Dana Jensen: Holy crap those seats are impressive. Not sure they're in every theater, but they power-recline almost flat and you don't have to move your legs for people to pass. Wish parking was free, but whatever
Dana Jensen: Be careful if you choose to climb down because the path is not always clear. It's definitely worth driving the loop around the coast if you're in the area and stopping here is a no-brainer if you do.
Dana Jensen: Already reviewed the center itself, but just fyi there is a very recently opened and stylish restaurant upstairs that is definitely worth eating at. Wonderful views, good food, and cool decor.
Dana Jensen: Clean room, pleasant staff, and lovely horses. I found the many taxidermy ravens aesthetically pleasing, though they creeped out my honey. Be sure to visit their stables and meet some of the horses!
Dana Jensen: The Blue Lagoon can stuff it. I'm officially recommending going here instead. Beautiful water, not crowded at all (mid-April), reasonable price, and delightful beer-in-the-baths option.
Dana Jensen: Gorgeous, even in an almost white-out blizzard. Don't be dummies like us and stay more than one night if you can, in case weather is tricky.
Dana Jensen: Great location for seeing the sights in Myvatn, clean and new feeling rooms, and a lovely young woman at the front desk who was instrumental in helping us stay safe driving in a horrible blizzard.
Dana Jensen: The portions on the farm plates are huge, the arctic char is delicious, and the myvatn specialty bread was my favorite rye bread of the week. Nicely moist.
Dana Jensen: Dog friendly! Selection changes constantly, but there is always a very nice array of cosmetics (UD, lorac, tarte, OPI, etc) for really good prices.
Dana Jensen: A good place to wait and have a cup of something warm while waiting for the 8 bus to come. The breakfast sandwiches are actually pretty yummy?
