- Robin Van den bergApril 5, 2017Airport is very near Dublin centre. Buses available and quite cheap too. There are two bus companies so if you have a reservation, make sure to line up for the right one!Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Julie CollazoApril 6, 2013Love: Free WiFi. Dislike: US Immigration & Customs Pre-Clearance: Be aware that once you've gone through there, there's no turning back for duty-free, VAT tax processing, or currency exchange.Upvoted 4 days ago
- Clara WuAugust 6, 2015PSA to US flights: move fast and get here early - you have to move through customs before you can get to your gate and it takes forever!Upvoted 3 days ago
- Free wifi all through T1 and T2. After months of trials, it looks like they're keeping it. A reliable, strong signal throughout both terminals. Nice work, DAA!Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Small but highly efficient airport with free and reliable WiFi. Also, one of the only two European airports offering US CBP Preclearance.
- Brian WeyAugust 13, 2014If you're going to the US, give yourself a little extra time to go through US pre customs - a second security screening and immigration. On a busy day it'll take an extra hour.
- DUB has pioneered FREE Wi-Fi among other European airports that previously charged. Now DUB has stronger signal. Great overall service from staff. Good Irish sense of humour. Good food options.
- Taylor RhodesSeptember 28, 2017Fabulous security check points. You can keep your shoes on if they are flats. They have automated the carry-on bins. Checked baggage can be done by yourself with kiosks. Good retail/restaurants.
- Benjamin 🚀February 22, 2016Clean, efficient and a good selection of shops and restaurants. Check your gate when you land if you are connecting as the boards in the main hall may not clue you in as fast 😄🇮🇪🚀.
- Malcom BenitesSeptember 16, 2014The airport is beautiful even when inside looking out with plenty of glass windows to let in the most amount of natural light. Aer Lingus reigns supreme here. Easy check in and baggage check.
- Great airport that is being constantly renewed. If you're there for breakfast, stop at buttlers for a fantastic hot chocolate!
- A fine airport with clear directions and helpful staff - generally. Public transport is via bus only but there are lots of options. Security is usually pretty good.
- Although not fancy, it is quite nice and fast. If light on luggage take the coach services to the city centre.
- Exiting the airport turn left on M1 for historic Medieval city of Drogheda on the Boyne, only 25 mins drive, culture, heritage and a warm welcome awaits!
- Terminal 2 is the new one. Very modern with lots of places to shop. If you are heading to the USA, however, you won't get much time to do anything since you need to go through pre-clearance.
- I just love European customs! Especially coming from the US. ;) Free Wifi is provided which is how it should be. 😊
- Mary CarrollJune 20, 2018Quick and efficient. Super friendly staff will help along the way. Tax free desk moved to gate 301. Great food and beverage options
- Beautiful airport, terminal 1 recently renovated, terminal 2 is new. Great shops and bars and restaurants inside. I like being there!
- BBorremansNovember 12, 2014Smokers area wi-fi area you have everything you need and shops ofcourse..there are more shops in there than we have in shopping center in belgium😁😁😁and lots of food👍
- Free wifi. Amazing selection in duty free. Good choice of eating spots!
- Jake SmithJanuary 4, 2015If you're going to the US, make sure you dine before heading through U.S. Preclearance. Make sure you leave about 1.5 hours before departure time to go through all the security checks.
- Mike DFebruary 14, 2015The newer T2 is very nice. I've never had to wait long for check-in or security. Nice choice of restaurants both before and after security. High end shops and duty free after security.
- Terminal 2 is beautiful, fast, and enjoyable. Terminal 1 is not so good, but still decent. Free Wi-Fi, lots of vending machines, and enough room to wait comfortably. Aer Lingus and Ryan Air live here.
- jake furstNovember 9, 2014only airport in Europe with US Pre-Clearance for customs and immigration, which is awesome, but it means you really do have to be here 2 hours early.Upvoted 1 week ago
- Christine GuentherMarch 19, 2023Free Wi-Fi. If traveling to the US, there’s US pre clearance meaning you deal with US customs and are done with it (no collecting bags and redepositing them once in the US,etc).
- Good WiFi and selection of shops. If flying with Ryanair, prepare yourself for a long walk
- Bus 747 takes you directly to the city centre via the tunnel. 6€ one way, 10€ for a return ticket. It's even faster than a cab
- Vladilen ZarubinNovember 7, 2014Nice Airport with many Irish gifts and souvenirs - no need to find anything in town unless you need something special. Beware of low coster Aerlingus - none of my flights went without surprises yet.
- John Di DomenicoMay 11, 2013The Aer Lingus Lounge is only 25 Euros for a day pass and well worth it. Lots of different foods, coffees, teas, soup, booze, beer, soda and very friendly staff.
- Jeffrey-Ryan B.October 28, 2014This is the amazing airport in Dublin, Ireland and a great gateway city to rest of Europe and entry into the EU xx
- New and efficient way to go to several destination within Europe. Good connections with Dublin city center.
- Christos ZervasJuly 31, 2016Really huge with massive variety about anything! So save a lot of time before your flight. NB! Ryanair gates are quite hard to find... Bizarre for an Irish company in their national airport.
- Joseph ZieglerAugust 24, 2014Great airport. Sometimes you don't even feel like you are in an airport. Feels like a shopping mall in some places. Took no time at all to get through security, but that was around 8am on a Sunday
- Diane FangNovember 13, 2016Free Wifi, nice big spacious airport, good bus connections to the city. Buy your bus tickets in advance online to get some savings.
- Different terminals have different features. It can get confusing if your BA flight is operated by Aer Lingus or the other way around. Be sure you check your departing terminal in advance.
- Prepaid Parking protip: set your arrival time to much earlier, in case you do get there early, the barrier won't open otherwise. The booking adds a day to your booking, so the other end doesn't matter
- Good airport. Normally quite quick to get through. Make sure you know where you’re gate is as some can be far and may even take a bus to get too.
- James StewartAugust 5, 2016The 747 and 757 buses provide a great service to/from the city, including free onboard wifi
- Jeffrey-Ryan B.October 21, 2013On British Airways London City all Business Class service the aircraft refuels and you pass through US customs at this airport so you arrive as if you flew domestically and it's a daily flight eachway
- Jack SmithSeptember 3, 2016No rail links here!! The nearest Irish Rail station is over 6 miles away. Transport options at the airport to Dublin are either by taxi, hire car or various local and city shuttle buses.
- Elias BizAugust 6, 2018Good overall airport but US flights require an extra 60 minutes. *Two* security screenings plus US immigration control before you board (instead of when you land).
- Cupcakes CarlynnNovember 16, 2014Tidy airport. Free wifi. Pre clearance is the best part so give yourself time. Also I didn't like the food selection post security so I picked up food pre security. It's on the 2nd floor.
- Look for Method & Madness Gin when you’re passing through at Duty Free. Limited time only! It’s the best Gin I’ve ever had in a G&T.
- The security check usually is very fast, suggest a coffee in Butlers or a pint upstairs at the pub. Smokers allowed in the beer garden
- M MApril 27, 2015Go there by Taxi! The airlink busses are full on weekends and won't stop sometimes. Taxis are waiting at the airlink bus stops so you Van share one car.
- Be sure you arrive with enough time. Usually, queues to pass control are long and you could need up to 20 mins. to get in. Free WiFi available in all the airport.
- Kim LoaneApril 24, 2018Irritating Immigration Procedure: Just 2 Officers for non-EU citizens, lots of Officers for EU citizens. Long wait if you are non-EU. Petty.
- Erin Travel With BenderNovember 1, 2013We have loved ireland! Wrote all about it at travelwithbender.com upstairs at the airport is a maccas playground. Amuse the kids & spend those left over euros.
- Wonderful airport. Modern, great facilities and joy to fly from as a passenger. Kudos to the DAA.
