The restaurant that chefs visit in Paris. Wonderful food. Try the beef cheek, calamari stuffed with rice, steak, or cochon de lait braise. Tip: if you don't want to wait go at an awkward time like 4.

I absolutely enjoyed this meal. We had the lamb shank and octopus couscous. It is really crowded, so call them for a booking preferably. We skimmed in for lunch without a booking but we were lucky.

Three words: cochon au lait. Amazing suckling pig on a bed of lentils, absolutely exploding with flavour. Vegetable salad to start is a good option, although the specials are solid too.

The stuffed calamari with orzo and squid ink is the best squid I've ever had in my life. Be sure to order it to experience the most tender yet flavorful squid ever.

Yves Camdeborde’s beloved bistro, once neo and now classic. Book months in advance for weeknight, no-choice dinner, or just queue up at lunch or weekends for the so-called “brasserie menu”.

Had to spend some time outside waiting for a table to get available. But it was worth it. The food, the ambiance, everything was great. Strongly recommended.

Everything was stunning and delicious. Great French cuisine. Amazing carte des vins. It s expensive for the service you get. Waitresses can't manage many customers. You need to line to get there.

Great entrees, good wine selection, but watch out for your mains (we misread ours and got something we didn’t want). Super crowded another don’t take bookings.

Can’t go wrong. Get wine by the carafe (go full litre) and order with emphasis on meat. And don’t forget the œufs mayonnaise.

Recommended by anthony bourdain. famous dishes include Salade nicoise, Foie Gras & Toast de Pain, and beef cheek. You should order their Apple Tart as dessert, you won't regret it

Come at just before 12:00 for lunch and get a table you want. Otherwise you'll be waiting on the street. Lobster bisque is good.

During the week they take reservations pricey tasting menu, but on the weekends (starting Friday at lunch), they don't take reservations. Refined cafe/bistro fare, and is a pretty good value.

Great food just a block away from Luxembourg gardens. Get the terrine, croque, and whatever seafood/fish specials they have - you really can't go wrong.

A sandwich worthy of the name Monsieur. While peasants overburden their sandwiches with too much cheese, Le Comptoir finely toasts their bread, adds just enough creamy cheese and hits the spot.

There is a reason why this is the toughest table right now in Paris: the food is exquisite. Brilliant for lunch and wonderful for dinner, the food is simple and sublime. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more

Yves is our favourite chef in Paris! In addition of being the "father of bistronomy" (bistro/gastronomy) he is adorable and is as generous as its cuisine. Brasserie for lunch and gastro for dinner.
