    Japan Society has excellent wall texts in their art exhibits. Even if you're not the kind of person who normally reads them, give it a shot. Also, the high-tech toilets are a real treat. Read more

    Visit the gallery exhibitions on your own, or enjoy docent-led walk-in tours in the gallery conducted Tues.-Sun. at 12:30 PM. Japanese Language tours are conducted Friday nights at 6 PM.

    A nice venue for film screenings that’s a bit off the beaten path. Happy to trek for a 4K restoration of Mishima.

    Just took a free Japanese course there. Very beautiful building and very sweet and efficient teachers. Highly recommend taking a course there.

    There are free lockers (lock built into locker) and coat racks upstairs near the entry to the exhibits (single entry to all exhibits).

    The Japanese classes here are great, really cheap, and in the evenings. They also go up to a really high level. Awesome way to learn Japanese or pick it back up/maintain it.
