Built in 1869, the Lanesfield School was a mail stop on the Santa Fe Trail. It consists of a restored one-room schoolhouse, outbuildings and a visitor's center.
The Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm is the last remaining stagecoach stop open to the public on the Santa Fe Trail. The site focuses on 1860s farming, stagecoach operations and westward expansion.
The Herman B. Foster house was built in 1893. An example of Folk Victorian architecture, it was the residence of one of Gardner's storekeepers, a partner in the Bigelow-Foster Mercantile Company.
