An narrow dive, but it has an ass on it, so you'll find more seating than you'd expect from the look of it. Clientele is on the younger side.

My favorite neighborhood bar. It gets a little packed on weekends. The bartenders are all great if you're not an asshole. If you are an asshole, stay in North Beach. We don't like looking at you.

Past home to "Paula's Clubhouse." A mural of queer creatures dancing in outer space adorned the front. Thurs was the big night, "99 cent queer video" at 7 followed by "Junk" a vinyl disco party at 11.
