I have been to Fontana geothermal bath twice in a week! It's very relaxing with pools in different temperature. If you are brave, try to jump into the lake and come back in the sauna. Great experience!

You can order drinks from a window near the spas instead of going into the café. If you enter the lake, the hot water is to the left, the right was freezing! Ask about their mud-baked rye bread too;)

Great buffet. Fresh fish and rye bread, salads, coffee and dessert. Great-views of Hekla, the lake and baths. Take the tour to learn how they make the bread in the geysers.

    Been here 10+ times
This is a natural geothermal spa. I come here regularly to do the traditionally bath since the settlement of Iceland. After the bath, I enjoy the smoked trout with the home made bread.

Do the bread tour! Well done, nicely explained and so legit. Nothing more unique than bread baked in hot spring dirt!!

Serve bread that’s baked in the ground for 24 hours (though you can’t buy by slice & need to either get the whole loaf or other food with it). It’s interesting.

As we couldn't make to the Blue Lagoon, we came to this one, it was so relaxing! Expansive food!

We didn't do the hot springs but they have a demonstration on baking rye bread in the hot springs that was delicious.

It's worth it. Not so overgrowth as blue lagoon an more familiar. Pools great, sauna has nothing to do with finnish sauna. When we where there there was just a few visitors no bus from Reykjavik.

Realy don't worth it! They made lots of efforts to be hype and trendy but fails on details. Add to this the in jail feelings due to way too much fences which destroy the view!

Not worth it. 2.500 kr per person. Go to the nearest swimming pool instead for appr. 500 kr.
