Had the lamb burger and it's easily one of the most juicy, flavourful meat patties I've ever had. The homemade mayo and Dijon definitely helped make this beast! Oh and delicious, crispy fries!

Possibly the most complete restaurant in the city. The cushy Mile End locale and the chef's earthy, thoughtful gastropub food make it one of the most difficult tables in town. [Eater 38 Member]

Our waiter recommended the kedgeree at brunch. It did not disappoint. Also amazing at brunch: the scrapple and the custard doughnuts.

Came here late and the staff recommended me two seafood brunch options. They're small but my goodness, it was deliciously & deceptively filling. Come here early to get a good spot, it gets packed!

We had the lamb steak and catfish. The sauce with catfish was amazing and the hints of lemon confit so tasty paired with the lamb. Low key vibes, would definitely recommend for dinner.

Great place if you are a daring eater. Menu is unclear about what you get exactly but it's part of the fun. Good food, unusual dishes. If you are more conservative go for the burger, it's a safe bet.

I had liver for the first time here, and I loved it. A simple cheese sandwich was one of the most divine sandwiches I've ever had. Their bread is phenomenal and their bacon was outstanding.

The chaucuterie plate was great and a hit with my 19 year old daughter who was reluctant to try some of the cuts. A very adventurous menu so finicky people beware. I loved it all!

Delicious brunch - simple and hearty plates, be prepared to queue. Wish they would change the menu up every once and a while. Lunch - good burger and fries, but over priced for lunch.

Ideally located on the Plateau Mont-Royal. Tthe resto-runners behind Lawrence love donuts so much, weekend brunchers are given lemon, custard, and chocolate 'nut puffs to whet their palates.

Terrific charcuterie plate and wine list. If sablefish is on the menu, don't skip it; it is absolutely phenomenal. Lamb was a bit "wintery" in flavor. Not a good summer menu option!

Get a bunch of the small plates to share. 2 per person is plenty and you'll get to try more of the menu.

Everything is good here. To say that it was "excellent" is not enough. Food that will linger in our dreams

MUST: Eggs with Smoked Salmon. Also be sure to cop yourself and order some beignets as starters to be sure to fully enjoy the dripped coffee while you wait for the dish. Go before 11 on weekends.

I like it, but I think it is a bit overpriced for lunch. Maybe I expected too much? Nevertheless their food is quite delicious so I would def. go back when I have a chance.

Go savory for your main course, but then tack on an order of donuts for a sweet finish. Ask for the sampler of 1 custard, 1 strawberry, and 1 chocolate

The english breakfast is great, the cranberry French toast is bigger than you'd expect and quite tasty, and the mimosas (apple or orange) never disappoint.

If you’re visiting the restaurant in the evening, let me make one suggestion: don’t miss out on the pork chops. Oftentimes they are viewed as too plain to order, but at Lawrence, they’re not. Read more
