- Luis IrizarryNovember 29, 2016Went in before 430pm so they only had brunch. The turkey with eggs were outstanding and filling. My girlfriend had the lox & cream cheese which was good as well. For $2 on any entree you get a mimosa.
- Adrienne WoodlandDecember 13, 2017All the food I’ve tried here has been superb! Just make sure to bring your ID as they are pretty strict about carding people, even if you are obviously way over 21
- M-L MJuly 3, 2015Excellent artichokes and the Shepherds pie is not too shabby either! Service is also friendly and good! Sit upstairs in a booth for a date night.
- Ania BańczykAugust 6, 2015I love the Le Cheile burger yet I'm not a big fun of burgers so it really means something. Plus mimosa for $2 with every order makes me happy every time I eat there.
- ElisaJune 1, 2023Really good wings and fries. Drinks are reasonably priced. Live music adds to the vibe. Friendly and attentive staff. Ample outdoor seating!
- Great atmosphere, amazing staff and fantastic food. Can't go wrong with Le Cheile. You can also book space upstairs for events at a great price.
- ThelocaltripperJune 7, 2015Mac and cheese is delicious, taste freshly homemade. The chicken tenders were perfectly fried. Great prices and the place is super cute.
- Good little bar and a big restaurant. Kid-friendly with good drink prices and a good beer selection.
- One of the best Irish bars in NYC. The bartenders are professional and anticipate everyone's needs. The Heights wouldn't be the same without Le Cheile and their amazing team.
- Tuvia TendlerFebruary 7, 2012Great place. Nice people, and a really relaxing atmosphere. Play a good music selection and really has a cool vintage feel going on w/ the design and artwork. I would even go uptown for it.
- Pete JelliffeSeptember 14, 2015Just a fun laid back atmosphere. Have a beer after hiking up the hill. You earned it.
- Food terrific. Margaritas inconsistent. Joey. Please teach the bartenders how to make a real margarita. Every one has a different mix and they are not as good as yours. Great beers & specials.
- Arthur McCuneSeptember 3, 2012Good happy hour margaritas and a relaxed neighborhood vibe. Great place to refresh after a bike ride over the GWB or up to Fort Tryon.
- Joey and Stuart are awesome bartenders. Food is always amazing.
- Great atmosphere, amazing staff and fantastic food. Can't go wrong with Le Cheile.
- Robyn GrierDecember 31, 2014Consistent pub food and pretty fresh Guinness. The farmer's plate (4 side dishes) is creative and good.
- Jirka MaštovskýSeptember 20, 2014Homely atmosphere, onion soup was fantastic and the chélie burger with blue cheese is just 😙👌
- Garrett GarberMarch 15, 2013The House Ale is comparable but better than Killians Irish Red. Shepherds Pie and a Pint is worth the $12
- Marissa SeseAugust 3, 2015Bloody mary, extra spicy, please! The pot pie, bangers an mash, and shepherds pie are EXCEPTIONAL!
- Mussels, calamari and baby shrimp in spicy red sauce. Me favorite.
- Mac & cheese with a bacon is a must! The happy hour is pretty good here and prices are reasonable.
- Great atmosphere, amazing staff and fantastic food. Can't go wrong.
- One of the best Fish and Chips I've ever had. Great place for dinner!
- Beer of the day specials are great! The farmer sides are hearty and delicious!
- Perfect place for brunch if you are in the area. Reasonable pricing and great omelets
- Harlem AmbassadorAugust 24, 2013Don't even attempt to pronounce the name correctly. Save your efforts for Grilled Salmon that needs little else & a salad with balsamic that's tastier than it sounds. Odd layout but great street view.
- Frumpy? No. The comfort food is excellent here, and I enjoy the martinis too.
- ᴡ ElliotAugust 20, 2015Fantastic service, friendly neighborhood spot, big soup and sandwich/salad portions
- First Bloody Mary is $2 if you get food. It's strong, spicy and not drowning in horseradish (a trend I don't love).
- Greg ThomasJuly 11, 2013Awesome house brew, and great snacks! If you don't use the malt vinegar with the fries you are a fool!
- The Irish bacon is out of this world! The pancakes are great, too. Wait staff is super friendly!
- MsfroggyjayMarch 26, 2012Mac n cheese with Bacon awesome... fish and chips amazzzing. Cheile ale real crisp... grilled cheese hugeeee
- Samuel RosenblattFebruary 7, 2012Amazing bar. Solid selection of beers, great atmosphere and very nice people. Not cheap
- Service is always slow. I mean unnecessarily slow. In a rush, don’t bother. Food is ok. Nothing to write home about. Standard pub fare except everything on the menu is $2-3 more than it should be.
- Marieka JacksonNovember 22, 2011I wish I had come here all those times I wondered what it was and If it was any good. Get the French Toast w bananas!
- Enjoying the steak. One word and that is ORGASMIC. If it's not word then it is officially one now.
- I love their Traditional Fares!!! Service is very good!
- The giant grilled cheese is a great split entrée. And brunch is lovely and quiet.
- Try the cheese burger with Smoked Gouda cheese. Perfection with a glass of Le Cheile Ale.
- Go for Brit classics like shepherds pie, fish and chips or bangers and mash
- Alex RichardsNovember 17, 2015Always eat inside. Takeaway & pickup food can be poor in comparison to the attention to what goes on your plate in the restaurant.
- You'll notice that your freshly poured beer sits for 4-5 minutes before you receive it. Unfortunate.
