Avoid coming into LA on the 4th of July, passport control has the longest line ever seen.

Worst international airport ever. Not even a lounge outside of security to get a drink or a bite while waiting for arrivals.
Don't ever, ever fly American Airlines. You are better served by Virgin, Southwest, United...

Tim DoughertySeptember 1, 20103G and WiFi suck in the Southwest Terminal. Switch to EDGE by turning off 3G service. Helped a lot. Too many people here sucking bandwidth.
Horrible place. Waited an hour for our flights luggage to get to the carousel and very few amenities. Avoid if possible
If you have to wait on the tarmac for other planes to get out of the way, fly Virgin.
