Juan CanasAugust 17, 2014Good and nice food. You won't go wrong with the French onion soup. I think it is over staffed and some of the waiters just walk around. Definitely a place to try on the UES. Haven't try the bakery yet
Mike ShermanSeptember 4, 2016Bread is amazing, the baguette is maybe the best I've had in NYC. Pastries are much sweeter than at their locations in France, and are made in New Jersey and trucked in.
Andrew CFebruary 10, 2017Cute cafe with high-end foods at reasonable prices! We came for a late lunch, so place was empty and staff was very quick.... chicken and quinoa salad was more chicken salady, not so much quinoa!!!
coffee baristas are perfection! Breads & viennoiseries adequate. Patisseries however disappointing. On the UES for casual French this is it. In France I would never set foot in a Kayser or Paul!!
A perfect stop for a quick bite or to pick up bread and sweets for home. Perfect for a quick mid morning breakfast as well.

Paige CMarch 9, 2015Very slow service (waitress was more concerned about chatting with a co-worker) so we had to ask for coffee refills several times. Food was delicious. Next time we will probably just come for dessert.
The food is good. The service is slow. All white clientele and was amusing to watch a couple of ladies complain their whole way through their meal.
Kayser's croissant is way better than the one in le pain quotidien.
