For that mile high "piled high" authentic NYC corned-beef/pastrami sandwich. Long lines (out the door), so watch which day/time you go on.
The key lime pie. The calamari. The sauteed mushrooms and fried oysters - all excellent. The stone crab are overrated and overpriced.
Full service bar with good beer on tap. Decent sized interior. Digital jukebox. Not your typical 'take these wings and get out" run-of -the-mill wing shack.
Tony knows his stuff and is super easy to work with and wallet friendly. All my former "dealer work" that used to go to Passport BMW now goes to him for a fraction of the cost.
The teriyaki wings were excellent. I'll say that much. The food is sloppily handled and poorly displayed. The service seems "reluctant" at best. Servers on cell phones much?
Excellent calamari. It's a larger portion if you get it in the ceasar salad than the appetizer portion, and for less money. Excellent burger. Cornbread was tasty and a change from traditional bread.
Had several tacos here. The carnitas, the carne asada and the shredded beef Very nice. Even sampled the breakfast burrito. I'm a taco snob and these people are pretty good.
Been here a few times. Good atmosphere. Quaint and neighborhood charming. Kinda cramped though.
Love their rice and kabob, especially the beef and the lamb. Parking usually sucks though but then that's a DC tradition - especially in Georgetown. ::shrugs::
This joint fixes all the stuff that nobody else will these days. Big back TVs, radios, etc.
Had the house roasted roasted sandwich today. Excellent, is was ::Yoda voice:. Very juicy with a generous helping of meat. Garlic aioli and oozing juices! Good steak fries too. A definite hit.
They were soooo much better when they first hit the DC market 15+ years ago. Now they're a glorified Applebees w/LARGER portions, a cheesecake menu and ridic prices. Drinks are the one saving grace.
Good place e to get all types of electronics work done. They even fix big back TVs if you still own one.
Give a gift card for the holidays! They now have them for their art classes!! Woo-hoo!!!
The bar pizza is really good (thin crispy crust, lotsa cheese), as it the chicken wrap and a great deal of the rest of the menu.
