- Richard GregoryOctober 11, 2010Recommended: If you've just travelled from Chicago and you have a son called Kevin, then please make sure that he's with you. If not, he's probably in NY fending off burglars at your brother's house. Read moreUpvoted 1 day ago
- MuratApril 7, 201825min drive away from Miami Beach (when there is no traffic). It has many concourses, kind of big. Car rental area is 3min tram ride away. Could be long lines in checkin and security, give extra time.Upvoted 3 days ago
- Welcome to Miami, Florida! Our world class gateway has something for everyone. Enjoy our white sand beaches, diverse neighbirhoods , and exciting lifestyle. Come back soon...
- Unique way to get free wifi is going to gate D30 (aa admirals club) and connecting to "attwifi", you can sit just in front of admirals door and still get a good signal.Upvoted 2 days ago
- Maya AcostaFebruary 11, 2018It’s still ludicrous that in 2018 one of the busiest airports in the world doesn’t have free WiFi
- If you travel to LAS Vegas choose a seat on the right side of the plane and you will get great views of Grand Canyon and Hoover damUpvoted 4 days ago
- It's absolutely ludicrous that in 2015 one of the busiest airports in the world has horrendously slow WiFi that you have to pay to use. Get with the times MIA; Get Google Fiber & make it free for all.
- I love that you can take a train in to the airport now. Picking up friends and family when they come in to town is quick and easy, thanks to the sunpass parking feature too.
- MIA has gotten act together. Great restaurants, shops and selection of clubs and lounges. Flagship AA is fantastic. Centurion is as well for PlatAmex. Great views and easy skylink movement btw gates.
- Turkish AirlinesOctober 21, 2016Welcome to Miami! Get ready for a spectacular vacation as the city is full with energy. From endless beaches, a stunning atmosphere and plenty more, you sure won’t forget your experience in Miami.
- A lot of walking to get from the international arrival gates to passport control, if you dont have Global Entry, don't forget to download mobile passport and skip the huge lines.
- Welcome to Miami! Bienvenido a Miami! Miami is also known as "the 305" and 3:05 p.m. is also our official Cuban coffee break time! Indulge in some local culture and @305cafecito!Upvoted 2 days ago
- Bienvenido a Miami! The food is delicious at MIA. Go local with Sushi Maki, La Carreta or Versailles. If you need a pick-me-up, grab an iced café con leche & pastelito before departure.
- La Carreta near D38 has the best food anywhere in the airport. Good wifi throughout the terminal.
- Love the local touches at this airport. Make sure to grab an authentic Cuban coffee in the main departure terminal before you board your flight.
- TingMarch 15, 2015Pretty fuss free for a US airport. Easy to navigate and conveniently connected to car rental centre via a mover system. There are a few terminals, so make sure you know which one your airline is at.
- Iain TaylorOctober 22, 2014Free WiFi at gate D30 - look for "Admirals_club" network which provides AA Club members with their wifi. Enjoy :-)
- Ami H.July 19, 2016Vast but pleasant airport with underwhelming wifi and quantity of charging stations. But yes, the food options are good and the Xpress Spa is a nice place to decompress from travelling stress.
- Jan FreemanFebruary 11, 2016This is a HUGE airport. If you rented a car be prepared to walk a mile to get to the reservation desk. Lots of great restaurants and stores in the airport.
- Jeffrey-Ryan B.October 21, 2013This airport offers American Airlines Flagship Check-in for those passengers with access to it and it is kinda tucked away so you will need to look for it, but you'll find itUpvoted 2 weeks ago
- Sebastian Chinchilla ChaconAugust 15, 2018When buying at Duty Free Americas use the one that is closest to your gate, they all sell basically the same and the delivery at the gate is way much easier 😊
- Chills ( G concourse) is the best place to eat if you want a meal. If just looking for some Cuban sandwiches look for Las Carretas on 1st floor on terminal F.
- This was fun! Love the MIA airport. So many great shops and restaurants.
- My favorite airport. Airports are either love or hate, but it a depends about the person and their patience. ;) I never have issues here. Lots of parking.
- If you live in Miami, travel to J South on your day off and watch the flight attendants take their high healed shoes off in the security checkpoint and walk on their toes. It's exhilarating!
- Gary BarrettSeptember 15, 2016The airport is very nice. A big difference from the way it looked when it still had a 70's look. The gem here is the American Express lounge. They're rare and exclusive, but worth it.
- Always full of surprises. People doing impromptu concerts & such...or maybe just in my layovers. Stop by Ice Box Cafe for a great slice of cake while you wait. Bring clorox wipes to bathroom.
- Most inefficient, uninspired, dysfunctional major airport in the US. Perfect blend of poor design and utter apathy. Pre-✅ closes at 4pm daily. Overcrowded. Understaffed. Get drunk prior to arrival.
- A great place to exercise. The AA terminal has long walks between gates, so it's advisable to wear comfort shoes. Instead of taking the skytrain, walk to ur gate or up and down the steps to the train
- Take the 150 bus from MIA transit area near rental car terminal to Douth Beach in 30 min for only 2.35! It's a steal and a deal! Plenty of suitcase room too!
- Ariel HermanMay 28, 2017North terminal has tons of fantastic food, especially Cuban. Check out La Carreta around D36, Kuva at D19. Cafe Versailles for medianoche and a cortadito.
- Check out Versailles for some fresh guava pastries. If you're not from Miami and have never tried a guava pastry - trust me - you won't regret it.
- Be patient with your flight crew and pilots, they work away from home most days out of the month and although it can be a fun job it's not always as glamorous as it sounds. It's hard work! :)
- Michael TiesoJune 20, 2013The admiral lounge costs 50. Worth it! Great for long layovers, cheaper than hotel, unlimited coffee, drinks, etc. also has showers. And you get two drink tickets an free wifi. Fantastic deal.
- Igor SaraivaMarch 7, 2020The best and fastest pick up car rental is Alamo. I’ve lost more than 30min to rent at Sixty. Alamo has self-check stations. (This is not a sponsored review)
- Marco VicenteJanuary 22, 2015Lovely terminal, domestic flights with American got a long trip, don't miss the rest Don Shula's and its barbecue shrimps. Terminal adorable, Si la conoces, los vuelos domésticos en American muy lejos
- In and out is rough. Car rental is far from terminal. But if you're stuck at the airport fir a while there are great food options!
- Get some Atelier Monnier macarons, Cuban coffee, and take the metro rail to/from the city for $2.50 instead of cabbing. It's quick, easy, and convenient.
- Going on a cruise & renting a car the day before? Alamo has a bus to the port after you drop off your car. If you rent a car on your return, there is a Alamo bus ride back too.
- SkyMallNovember 17, 2010If your in the Miami Airport, don't miss La Carreta Cuban Cuisine by gate D37. Try the Ropa Vieja with plantains and rice coupled with a Cafe con Leche Coffee for a perfect meal.
- PaddyMay 24, 2016Huge hub for flights from US to the rest of the Americas. Managed to (pardon the pun) fly through with TSA pre-check. Well appointed with 2 Cuban food options in La Carreta and Cafe Versailles
- Angelica MTNovember 18, 2012If you are departing from terminal F, do all your shopping and eating BEFORE you enter F. F only has 3 shops and 3 snack places; crappy. Outside F, MIA offers a wonderful array of shops and eateries.
- The Cuban cuisine its my favorite to eat inside the airport as it’s good and not too pricey
- I love this airport... if you are hungry please try “la carreta”
- Kevin PaulFebruary 26, 2013Car rental has never been more of a pleasure! Amazing set up that takes you on a 20 minute scenic tour by car and then a wonderful 5 mile stroll before you actually make it to security.
- Alex DamashekOctober 31, 2013When you get to Miami International every conversation you overhear is in Spanish and the airport restaurant smells like rice & beans & plantains. Amazing!
- Barry HennesseyMay 23, 2014Just a few miles away a must try
www.elmagodelasfritas.com something only found in Miami ! Don't leave without giving it a shot. Read more - “La Carreta” it's a really nice place for sandwiches. Near to the gate D30 grab the Cuban a typical Florida's one. Also a bag of plateen sliced chips!!
