Nat M: Food's average; service decent. The soba was clumpy, the black pig tonkatsu was dry and batter too thick, the ramen was alright. I'd recommend the black pig char siu over the tonkatsu.
Nat M: Food is really average, and I can't say much about the service either. Perhaps it was because we had a set menu but I've had much better North Indian food for a fraction of the price.

Nat M: Come on an empty stomach & try the 7 or 9 course meals. Some dishes were outstanding, most notably the sashimi, foie gras chawanmushi & grilled swordfish; others were just OK.

Nat M: Decent Japanese food in a small nook of Far East which serves thick, juicy slices of sashimi. Not the best but not too bad either. Also, their yellowtail sashimi is surprisingly good. Skip the udon.

Nat M: I was skeptical. Didn't think vegetarian sushi would work but it did. For me at least. Even the "salmon sashimi" was good. My favourite dish: unagi maki. Nice ambience too.

Nat M: The good: wide variety, tasty sushi loaded with fresh ingredients & friendly staff. The bad: slow service (though we were the only ones there) & expensive. Interesting concept but a tad tacky.

Nat M: The collagen soup tastes like good chicken broth, flavourful & comforting. The novelty of the silicon-looking soup melting in a hotpot wears off after awhile. 1st refill is free; you pay after that.

Nat M: Great alternative to the usual sushi haunts like Sushi Tei & Ichiban. I'd recommend the Unagi sushi roll & hotate mentai. Not very generous with the salmon sashimi though; they were a tad skinny.

Nat M: Come here for reasonably priced bento sets, an interesting range of yakitori, decent (though limited) sashimi & a Japanese diner vibe. Big space with nice enough folks running the place.

Nat M: Huge menu! I think the best bet is to order lots to share. The grilled items seem to be the better choice as my sashimi rice bowl wasn't very impressive. Will definitely try more of them next time.

Nat M: Awesome kimchi soup & pancake. The grilled saba fish was worth it; huge, meaty slab that was so tender. The bancha was disappointing (sausage in ketchup, really?) but the main dishes made up for it.

Nat M: Sashimi was good; tuna apparently flown in direct from Tsukiji & sure tasted like it. Aburi sushi wasn't bad either but overall pretty average food. Free flow of pickled radish & seaweed as appetizers

Nat M: Big portions of meat but overall lacklustre wrap especially for the price. Preferred the salad but doubt it was good enough for me to return again.
Nat M: Love the concept & staff is lovely (shout out to the Aunty!). Porked pull buah keluak, chawanmushi & kueh pie tee were my favs. Definitely going back for more soon.
