G MJune 24, 2016This is my favorite place to visit in Pittsburgh! I highly recommend the encounters/trainer for the day. They are worth every penny. You get up close to the birds and the staff is fantastic!!

Jim FisherOctober 17, 2014This is a great aviary. Multiple open air rooms allow you to get great looks at the birds. The Bald and Sea Eagles are a must see, who knew birds could be that big? The penguins are fun, too.- Excellent place. So many amazing endangered birds. Get up close with a sloth or a bunch of penguins. A really fun place to go with your significant other if they like birds.

The Sea Eagle is overwhelming in size when you see it up close. Awesome place. I love it!
Painting with a TwistJune 21, 2013Penguin Point is the coolest interactive exhibits anywhere. Pop up next to a penguin and check him out up-close. Or stick around and watch a feeding. These guys are worth watching.

Marissa HiteJanuary 16, 2017Maybe it's because I'm older, but I really only enjoyed watching the penguins and the sloth feeding. The rest of the Aviary itself was pretty boring. Perhaps it's better for little kids.
