    Just come and get lost. Lots to read and look at. Some great views of downtown too. The guide provided in the gift store is also fun to use. There are several tours year round to check out as well.

    Simply not to be missed! The unexpectedly romantic pathways ramble through ancient Victorian gardens filled with stunning architectural monuments. GREAT stories on the different guided tours!

    A surprisingly active and beautiful cemetery, be sure to take one of the guided tours or visit for one of their events: Tunes in the Tombs, Sunday in the Park, and of course, for Halloween!

    One of Atlanta's most interesting historic sites, this cemetery is the final resting place of Bobby Jones, Margaret Mitchell and Maynard Jackson, to name a few. Self and guided tours are available.

    Oakland is the best place to eat lunch. Go to Grant Park Coffee or Ria's and pick up some delicious sandwiches to go and sit in the cemetery for the best lunch date in town!

    Historical gem in the Grant Park neighborhood. Beautiful gardens, skyline views and so much history of Atlanta and the Old South all in one place.

    Oakland is using a Save America's Treasures grant from the National Park Service to restore several of the mausoleums on the site. Visit and see them at work doing amazing stone restoration.

    The self guided map is 4 dollars at the visitor center and a must. (If u check in u get 25% off) The african american section has different markers where u can call a number and hear information!

    Grab lunch to go from across the street: Tin Lizzy's, Republic, Doc Chey's, Six Feet Under & eat with Bobby Jones. The last person who did this on a Saturday golfed lights-out on Sunday!

    Check out Sunday in the Park each year in October - this Victorian street festival has a lot to offer. The last couple of years have had amazing weather.

    I’m not really a fan of cemeteries and I don’t see the big ow of this one, but it is very touristic. You can take guided tours for around $15.
