- Candy WilsonOctober 19, 2014Love southwest airlines. My new favorite. Even though they lost my bags :-/
- Only major airport in the country with back roads and side streets the only way to get there, no direct freeway access
- Get here early. Seriously. You'll always need a couple hours for check-in and security with the long lines.
- When flying into SAN, try to sit on the left side of the aircraft. Great view of the Bay and Downtown.
- LillianJuly 27, 2013Try to time your landing with the fireworks at Sea World. Makes you feel special.
- Unless you're at Gate 1 or 2, your bags will come out on the wrong conveyor - every single time.
- Cool! Free WiFi... Make sure to use HTTPS (secure / encrypted) connection when using Facebook or other applications where you use a password.
- Patric JonssonMay 6, 2012San Diego is nice but every attraction has a upgrade package and the credit card gets over worked. Watch out for the Avis rental car sharks.
- Relax and read all the signs. You'll get to where you need to go. No worries, my lovelies :]
- Jon SamusDecember 17, 2012Most expensive parking fee ever. First day is prorated hourly; whilst after the second day, parking is charged per day regardless of time spent after the 24 hour period.
- Security is really fast and easy in the PM but get here 2hrs in advance in the super early flights the security line is looooong!
- Bambi AFebruary 5, 2013Do Starbucks before security if at SWA terminal if leaving at 6 am. Coffee & food choices post-security is scarce.
- Before catching your flight use the free wifi to snag free passes to a special advance movie screening at txtmovieclub.com
- Dan GibsonFebruary 7, 2014Go to McDonald's and ask for the Secret Sauce burger! Only location in the world that serves it.
- WallyPark Premier Airport ParkingDecember 21, 2012New shopping and concessions coming in 2013

- Very small airport by city standards. Limited food and entertainment inside.
- Don't leave the Cell Phone Lot until your person gets their lug! There's a 30 plus minut difference.
- Gabe B.April 26, 2013If going to terminal 1 I suggest you bring some eats with you cuz there aint $hit to eat/buy..
- Give yourself an extra 5 minutes to opt-out. Might just save you from cancer later
- This may have been the closest to outside of Airport pricing for the same food EVER!
- Nikki MJuly 8, 2013Good news: it's small and easily accessible. Bad news: it's small and has limited facilities. Be sure to eat before you go through security if you want hot food.
- Linda GarlandMay 10, 2013Nice outlets for recharging devices, but crowded and confining with the circle terminal and no where else to wander.
- Vince ColluraMarch 10, 2011Security will close for one of the two gate entrances pretty early on a week night. Ask an attendant / guard before schlepping your stuff!
- If checking in on United Airlines, try to check in with Joanna or Naomi. They're the best!
