A hidden gem: free admission and a collection that spans 10,000 years, great events as well, especially their "At the threshold"series

Great food from all the local restaurants! Snail, medici, foodism, etc. Not many tables, so it can get crowded. Best grilled cheese sandwich ever

If you're looking for a classy, small(ish) wedding venue I highly recommend the Smart. They have fantastic events coordination and the space is gorgeous!

Don't miss the lively French & Japanese color prints, on display through 1/20. (The portrait of Saigo Takamori is very striking.)
