The fried chicken & waffles are great, as is the fried green tomato Benedict -- and the doughnut trio is a can't-miss!

Enjoy your meal (get the mac and cheese to start) and then, if the weather is nice hit up their ice cream stand outside for your walk home.

Smoked trout for brunch was really good. Start with a brioche doughnut if they're still available!

I'm done with The General Greene. Even with only four people in the restaurant service was terrible, food only meh. Used to be one of the top area restaurants, but their best days are behind them.

There are a few types of guys it is always worth getting to know. One is a bartender, the other is a pastry chef. Here, you can do both. Go ahead, order that chocolate-hazelnut pudding and a beer.

The selection, prices and cleanliness were just a few of the reasons this is my new favorite grocery store.

The sangria had no fruit and the service could be better. It literally says on the menu "ask your server for today's ice cream flavors", but when we did she told us to go look outside at the menu. 🤔

wonderful food but surprisingly incompetent service. after ordering, we waited 90 minutes for our meal. did they fire the entire floor staff and replace them with high schoolers?

Everyone goes crazy for the breakfast, but they actually have a FANTASTIC dinner menu as well. The fried chicken is to die for.

General Greene Burger is simple but phenomenal! This is our go to spot for dinner these days.

The popular cheddar and smoked ham scramble is a perfect mix of flavors. Other food on the menu, like ranchero eggs and pinto beans in a skillet, could use a little more flavor and spice. Read more

If you're coming for dinner, the cheese grits with mushrooms (creamy, savory, fluffy, delicious!) and the fried chicken (crispy, crispy, crispy) can do no wrong!

We like the migas- a scramble of eggs with cheese, pico de gallo, red or green hot sauce, shredded cheddar, and leftover tortillas, usually fried into chips

On weekends for brunch, you'll want to get the skillet eggs, but TRUST me, get the burger. It's one of the best I've had in BK. The bacon & cheese are a must as extras.

Delish panini's and other brunch items for super cheap, considering its all organic! Salted caramel ice cream is great too.

Order the half bottle of champagne -- great deal for 2 people and comes out to be less than the cost of 2 glasses. Chorizo hash is delicious, too, and the burger.

The candied bacon is as good as everybody says, but if you're having it as an appetizer you could easily split it between three or more people.

The Mac and cheese was awesome but the burger left something to be desired. The only real down side was the amount of time it took to get food on a slow night, 25 minutes for the starter.
