Nice hotel in a historic building, rooms are charming, staff are friendly, wine and cheese reception in lobby Sunday-Thursdays, complimentary breakfast. No free parking. Nearby shopping, restaurants.

The entire hotel staff is delightful. Big kudos to Charles & Rachel at the front desk. I stay here every time I'm in Savannah and never disappointed. It's my home away from home.

We just loved our stay. Such a great old hotel. Very sure we heard noises at night :). Wine and cheese with live entertainment was great. And the buffet was terrific. such great service and people.

Gets taken over during the Savannah Film Festival. It was built in 1851. Watch the town from the verandah's rocking chairs. Read more

Some of the rooms are tiny -- room 212 is the smallest room I've ever lived in, ever, anywhere, including Japan. Room 213 at the Marshall House fits a double bed and two small end tables. That's it.

Unless you wake up at 6am ... Stay on the highest floor possible. Historic building = creaky floors. Should have brought earplugs...

Where are all the body parts of long ago that were dug up? I'm waiting for a ghost to appear!

Over priced. Unless you are 60-80 years old. Home sweet home for them.
