This place is fantastic. Create your own salads & sandwiches are my go-to for lunch at the office. Also try their tasty cafe creations! Friendly staff as well! One of my favorite places in Astoria.

People tend to overlook their rotating specials which is a shame because they are delicious. The earlier you come, the warmer your bagel, the larger your smile.

If you need a quick Sbux fix before heading into the city, go here. Probably the most friendliest and fast, has a nice local feel as well.

People rage about the red velvet cake. Fine. When you're done with that, get the "Everything Pie" and experience why it's so much better than anything else they offer.
Red velvet is definitely a specialty here, but also try the cheesecakes!

Adorable new coffee shop in Astoria. I really enjoyed the Japanese iced coffee. I don't know what makes it Japanese, but it was good.
A shop with rotating coffee roasters (some of which aren't our favorite), Astoria Coffee is an attractive, quiet, high-ceilinged space, run by friendly folks, with wifi, plugs, in an underserved area.
This place feels more like home than my own apt sometimes. I ❤️
