Cindy H: Casual local spot. There’s no menu - pick from the seafood spread and tell them how you want it cooked. Grilled calamari, shrimp, & branzino were flavorful and well seasoned. Eggplant was amazing too.
Kathy Liu: The tagine is AMAZING here and among my favorite things ever to eat in NYC. The seafood here is fresh and amazingly seasoned. 10/10 recommend going.
David: As good as Taverna Kyklades but without all the distractions. A hidden gem in Astoria where it’s all about the fresh fish and delicious cooking. Order the shrimp, branzini (baked) & eggplant.
Katie R: Best customer service in the city. Always friendly, efficient, and the cafe is always kept tidy. Great foods and coffee to boot, too!
Gina Kruzic: Must everyone wear a fedora?
Adam Kuban: Need to charge an electronic doohickey? Look for the outlet icons on the banquette seat along the wall.
Morgan Polotan: Romantic Italian place, good food, a hidden Astoria gem.
Jesse Richman: Go to Vesta. Order the Baby Jesus cake -- super sweet and moist, with unsweetened whipped cream to calm your taste buds. Die happy. Really, it gets no better than this.
Jaunted: Everyone isn't kidding about the Baby Jesus cake. It looks like nothing, tastes like everything. We think the secret is dates. ;)
Morgan Polotan: Innovative cream cheese flavors and a solid iced latte.
Shannon Lehotsky: If the regular bagels are too much, try getting a mini bagel (which are still HUGE)
Nickoleta Lytras: Whole lotta grain bagel! With egg whites and spinach for a healthy breakfast, or spread of the week for a snack (chipotle sundried tomato hummus this week is divine).
Douglas Cajas: Bratwurste are amazing! Great value
Tony Xerri: The beer is great, the brats were tasty, the music is awful. Thankfully the lovely service helps forget that. Needs outside seating.
Zach Rubenfeld: Definitely get the one wheat beer on tap. Sausage selection is crazy and you really can't go wrong. Great day drinking spot.
