Coffee shops in Austin are CROWDED. But I usually find Monkey's Nest has a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, great for getting work done. The baristas have always been super helpful as well.
Took ten minutes to even get the staff to acknowledge I was there. They were friendly enough after that. Iced mocha lattes usually have whipped cream on them, don't they?
Get your Cuppa' Jo' in a dine in glass. Take your time here. Plenty of computer space too. Open til 10 on weekdays. Winning!
The Medicine Ball tea is a lifesaver for allergy season! It's not on their hot tea menu so you'll have to request it, but you'll be glad you did!

The Turkey Sweet is AWESOME. The croissant is a bit heavy/flakey, but they'll swap it out for another bread. I'd suggest getting it on the multigrain or baguette!
Awesome little taco stand with outdoor seating. Puffy beef and cochinita pibil tacos were both delish.
