Mothers Day brunch was subpar. Service was mediocre. If you're looking for an upscale LA style restaurant, you're better off in LA.
Unexpected luxury, incredibly comfortable bed, beautiful decor, looks like Manhattan in Bakersfield. Friendly staff, beautiful historic building, reasonably priced.

Food is fantastic! Portions are great, prices are good and the service is second to none. Hint: order off the fitness menu and saves some calories, then order dessert and make up or the calories saved
Demand proper seating. They seat two people in a big booth. Then cram a family of four at a small square table. Come on manager
Absolutely save room for the Tiramisu. Delicious, decadent without being heavy or too sweet. Certainly some of the best I've ever had, in or out of town.
Try the Crest Cocktail, it is almost identical to the Brigantine Del Mar cocktail but less expensive and more shrimp. Margaritas are delicious too and these pair well together
We have heard great things about the Crest Bar and Grill so a few of my coworkers went for a farewell lunch for one of our retirees. All but one of us were disappointed with the food.
French dip & Philly cheese steak were both pretty good. Fries were tasty, get them over the onion rings. The onion rings were huge and well cooked, but lacking in seasoning.
Love the Tiki decor and the drinks are great.

The Red Bull and Red Dragon rolls are spectacular. Other rolls samples were also very good, as was the teriyaki salmon. Icing on the cake was a super friendly server.
Food was very good! Service however, some of the worst I've had. Moral of the story, terrible place for large groups, prby good for takeout or smaller groups but the waitress(owner?) was totally rude!
Ask for Jackie! She was an awesome waitress..... She knows her stuff and simply the sweetest!!!
