Great restaurant that locals love. Close to several hotels off of corporate. Only bar I've been to with George Dickel #12. A southern classic. Order the truffled oysters or the seafood salad.
Best new restaurant in Baton Rouge. The food is amazing. I haven't a single bite of food that wasn't fantastic. Brunch is where it's at! Don't worry about what to order, it's all great.
Order everything. Seriously. If you need a starter, the French Onion Soup is one of the best I've ever had. Try the Bacon Bloody Mary too!

Best Italian food In Baton Rouge. Hands down
The Bella lasagna is good alt. low carb meal. Zucchini, squash and eggplant instead of pasta. For the meat eaters, hussar steak is stuffed and huge. Traditional Lasagna pictured below
I will admit that the service is HORRIBLE here, but the food is SO good that it keeps us coming back. I've never had Italian food like this and doubt I'll ever find a comparable restaurant.
