Ayaka Nonaka: Spicy mentaiko spaghetti (with reef squid, jidori egg, yuzu kosho, shiso, and garlic-ginger butter) is one of the best dishes I’ve ever had.
Eater: With both Japanese and American influences, the menu spans sushi, miso-cured pork chops, sea urchin fettuccine, and hibachi-grilled beef tongue. It's rustic and refined at the same time.

Frank Kim: Had both a whiskey and beer flight here, excellent choices for both, the cauliflower salad was really good, and the ribs were awesome. They have a fried apple pie dessert that's to die for too.

Mike Podwal: Green salad with soy chicken (and lemon shallot) might be my favorite dish in all of Berkeley. Super fresh, filling and tasty.

Jojo Lam: Apparently, you need to specify for your benedict that the egg be a little runny. Otherwise, it will be more like a medium egg, not-runny.
