Kendal Cockrel: One of my favorite places in the east bay. It's a little funny to pay to play boardgames with your friends, but their selection is unbeatable and the staff is very helpful.
Nabeel Hyatt: Secret: it's actually just a really nice cafe w/wifi even when you don't want to play games
Nitin Puri: Super awesome collection of board games and lots of space to gather as a group. Great coffee too!
Ayaka Nonaka: Their fior di latte gelato is soooo good. 🤤🥛 If you like milk flavored things, you have to get it!
Junes C: Dense and delicious gelato. I'd like to see how this place shapes to fit Berkeley as time goes, since it's so new. Be warned that portions are small so opt for more than just the baby scoop!
Sritej Attaluri: You HAVE to try the stracciatella. Vanilla with a solid chocolate syrup drizzle that melts in your mouth at a different rate than the ice cream. It's an experience.

Ayaka Nonaka: Spicy mentaiko spaghetti (with reef squid, jidori egg, yuzu kosho, shiso, and garlic-ginger butter) is one of the best dishes I’ve ever had.
Eater: With both Japanese and American influences, the menu spans sushi, miso-cured pork chops, sea urchin fettuccine, and hibachi-grilled beef tongue. It's rustic and refined at the same time.
Laurie Dalzell: Fabulous food here!

Joey Combs: Love this place. Amazing burgers, great beer and whiskey selection AND right across the street from the friend's apartment.
José Rodríguez: The burger choices are all top-notch. Highly recommend the rotating beers... Have yet to try their rye whiskey selection, but look forward to it. Casual place with multiple monitors to check out games
jason moore: Not a great spot if you have time constraints. They have some point-of-sale issues they need to work out, and the kitchen takes about 20 minutes on a slow day.
