La Scala's basic pasta dishes (read lasagna and pasta bolognese) are truly fantastic. Great for take away as well if you're on your way home and looking for delicious classic Italian food.
Chopped salad was good but not as amazing as I've heard, bolognese pasta was nice, great meat sauce and noodles were around al dente, a bit pricey for 19 dollars though

The best, freshest and most authentic Italian food across continental US. I tried 3 types of their freshly baked pastas. All were exceptionally good. Go for Panna Cotta for dessert. Zero regrets.
