overrated. don't understand why people are crazy about this place. The cakes are mediocre to disappointing. The pastry of Napoleons is soft, tiramisu tastes bitter and imbalanced.

La Scala's basic pasta dishes (read lasagna and pasta bolognese) are truly fantastic. Great for take away as well if you're on your way home and looking for delicious classic Italian food.
Go for mozzarella marinara, baked eggplant and the lasagna verde.
The best, freshest and most authentic Italian food across continental US. I tried 3 types of their freshly baked pastas. All were exceptionally good. Go for Panna Cotta for dessert. Zero regrets.

The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. I only took a ceasar sald and it was pretty good! Every plate I saw looked very fresh and of quality. A place to try!

Great staff. Parking can be a little of challenge, especially in the morning. I recommend street parking during the busiest hours. Not the best place to get a lot of work done though.
best coffee, never bitter from old beans. they clean everything so well evey night. people are so nice, they remember us regulars and our orders. joe the manager rocks! thanks y'all!
