Ali: Fantastic cocktails. Try 1975. Their chicken meatballs are also great.
Gardiner Allen: Gracious and friendly staff; amazing decor (and history), and the drinks and food are out of this world to boot. The library bar is great to chill out with that special someone
David Foster: Atmosphere is rich and strange. Tuna Crudo is an umami bomb. Corn and farro salad is extra flavorful. My favorite is the negroni ice cream. The macaroon flavored with Swedish fish is unique.

Jay Joynes: Amazing food, prices, drinks and staff...I keep going back again & again!
BostonTweet: A small and dark (almost dive-like) Italian restaurant in the South End that has big portions of kick-ass food for a lot less than most of the other restaurants in the neighborhoo
Sonia Q.: Italian nachos are awesome with ricotta cheese and short rib. Make sure you at least get a side order of meatballs because they are to die for!

Alessia M: A small space with no reservations, but get there on the early side to put your name in and enjoy a delicious drink at the bar. It's well worth the wait.
BostonTweet: The Franklin Cafe has O'Hara's Irish Stout on draft for $5 and they serve really good food until 1:30am. It honestly doesn't get any better than that.
Bravo: Thumping techno beats aside, the great comfort food draws chefs and restaurant crews post shift to grab real food late night. -Tania Peterson, Top Chef Just Desserts

Noah Weiss: Fun take on a Japanese Izakaya from the famous O Ya team, with a Tokyo hipster vibe and tasty cocktails with lots of tiki drinks. The warm 'rando' section was great: curry noodle + oyako rice bowl.
Lindsay D'Andrea: I am torn. Really cool space, but the small plates rack up a cost I don't feel justifies the meal. Drinks are whimsical in name and ingredients but sometimes don't come together.
Elaine Courtney: Pro: If you're a Kiko Mizuhara fan her photos are all over the women's bathroom stalls. Con: if you're human the level of salt content in food here will LITERALLY kill you. Decisions, decisions.
The Feast: Excellent cocktails and well-executed tavern fare reign supreme here. Go for a $3 shot of draft Fernet to end the meal. Read more.
Thrillist: This upscale neighborhood tavern's got a healthy assortment of craft cocktails, over 70 whiskeys, and a pleasing lineup of draft suds. Also: A 100-year-old fireplace. Read more.
Boston Magazine: The raw bar here is one of the city’s best, the drink list superb. Perfect spot for cocktails and group gatherings. Read more.

Jayme Pounders: The beef&lamb Shawarma is great, as well as the chicken shawarma. The Egyptian fries and the hummus are all good Too, and everything is fairly priced!
Liz Kiraly: Get the Egyptian fries! Seasoned with the spices of the gods.
Ben Tepfer: Awesome food (get lamb shawarma). The employees are super nice but some customers are annoying (except me, of course).

Rue La La: If Moscow Mules and Prohibition-style locales are your thing, Lucky's offers some of the best - pub fare, classic drinks (the Moscow Mule is served in a copper mug) and Sinatra brunch on weekends.
Jake Smith: Great atmosphere, cool decorations, and a live band almost every night of the week. Love this place.
Jason Davis: The sliders are awesome, and the bartenders know how to pour drinks! Love this place!
