Solid choice if you're looking for a shop to take a date, get some work done or just hang out and read a book. It's pretty LA though. They have a $10 Latte and service is what you'd expect in LA too.
intelligentsia has always been my favorite, but (gasp) alfred's iced latte with almond milk is peeerfect. i don't know about anything else on the menu; i'm very committed to this one drink.

I had the peanut butter and chocolate blondie (brownie) which was good, dense and a bit moist. The large Latte is literally LARGE! :) (and was good as well)
Lots of outlets, reasonable wifi speeds, and they're open late. Much better than fighting for seats, slow wifi, and bad coffee at Starbucks. Go for the latte

New store looks great, friendly staff, lots of tables inside, but limited outdoor seating. Only Starbucks I've been to where baristas will walk by offering free muffins, cookies, etc.

Healthy food + wine (or beer) = YUM. Their soups are amazing and their soy "cheese" nachos are a non-dairy girl's best friend. An indulgence sans guilt.
