Some of the better Korean food in NYC, produced by the owners of another fave, The Good Fork. Great quality ingredients, good beer list, weekend lunch. Service is a bit unfocused and mostly non-Korean
The fried chicken is absolutely delicious. If you go with a large party (7 or more), get a whole. As far as cocktails go, the tiger's whisker is awesome. Get some karaoke in, too! Super fun spot.

Ask for the ginger-sesame sauce that comes with the tuna appetizer. It goes fantastic with the bread!

This place is underrated. The kale cupcakes (eggs baked in kale in muffin tins) are my go-to for brunch. Go easy on the spicy sauce, which is great but will pack a wallop. Great, green cocktails too!

A former ironworker’s shop that serves some of the best BBQ north of the Mason-Dixon. Order the smoked prime rib medium rare and sit at a picnic table, take in the butchery charts and dig in.
Excellent BBQ. Prepare to wait in line for a while of you get there during peak hours. Go to the bar, grab a drink and wait in line. It's worth it.
Bring extra napkins. Not for the mess, but for the tears of absolute pure bliss you experience while eating meat heaven.
